The Emerald Plume was drawn from the fascination of the Art Deco era with symmetry, nature and the human gaze. Each plume-like form was illustrated by hand — the fine striations of emerald feathers, the pebbled mosaic of cream, and a single watchful eye set at its heart — then tessellated into a seamless, interlocking pattern where every shape cradles the next. The deep navy ground gives the print its jewel-like intensity, recalling the enamelled brooches and lacquered screens of 1920s Paris. Printed on pure silk twill and finished entirely by hand, each scarf is numbered and sealed in the VAUDRE archive. Only one exists — for the collector who sees a scarf as a small, wearable work of art.
